The decision of the Polish Financial Supervision Authority (KNF) primarily concerns the process of defining target client groups
and onboarding new clients, including the registration form used between January 2022 and September 2023. Both the form itself and the onboarding mechanism have already been revised in accordance with the KNF’s guidelines.
The decision of the KNF is not final. XTB is currently conducting a detailed analysis of its justification in order to determine whether to pursue further legal steps.
The decision has not been granted immediate enforceability, which means that XTB will not be required to pay any potential penalty before the decision becomes final.
